STAFF TRAINING

JOAK ensures that staff receive all necessary training by:

  1. Developing "A Training Requirement Staff Policy". This forms one of the bases for our staff credentialing process.
  2. Staff are credentialed “at the point-of-hire” to ensure that staff receive all necessary trainings.
  3. Job Development and On-going Training: To ensure continuous training and retention of competencies and responsibilities, on-going training and support are important resources for JOAK programs. JOAK encourages staff to attend continuing education, workshops, conferences, seminars and regular supervisory staff meetings.
